I’ve been involved with web sites since the Internet first went graphical in 1993, and I built one of the first analog telephone handsets to operate with voice over the Internet. I remember testing the system between California and Alabama, running numerous sound tests and packet tests over dialup. When we developed a cordless phone that interfaced with a sound card we thought we were on to something big. Later we used prototype software from IBM called Bamba Phone – and we actually had video phones in 1998. (see more about Bamba)

Things have changed so much over the years, but actually it has only been about ten years since those days. Here at Live Phone Networks we studied VoIP and never lost a passion for the technology. We like to think we’ve helped others and we’ve gathered data from all over the world.

One thing missing from the VoIP (voice over internet protocol) and SIP (session initiation protocol) market was a safe free way to transmit text messages, voicemail, and telephone calls to any phone anywhere in the world. Privacy settings are mandatory in a global setting. That is where Jaxtr comes in, and what a great product it is.
