Voicemail from Bulgaria while living in the United States -- Missouri -- is not a common thing. I do like the new layout of Jaxtr's web site and the ease of retrieving voicemail and other caller information. The Jaxtr website is much easier to use these days. Once you log in you have one click access to everything. You can view all of your calls, or sort by inbound or outbound calls. I'm sure many of my readers want to know if I have been to Bulgaria. It is one of the few countries I have not been to. Surrounding Bulgaria are Bosnia, Turkey, and Greece. My wife and I can tell you about all three, and in some cases more than we ever wanted to know. Turkish soldiers and I even managed [+]

We were sitting in our flower shop in Windsor Missouri when the phone rang. Nancy answered with our standard "Orchids and eBay - may I help you?", fully expecting a customer question or a telephone order. There was no background noise, delay, or anything to suggest otherwise. The caller was from Jordan. Enjoying to opportunity to talk, Nancy was on a cordless phone. She refilled her coffee cup, sat in the lounge, and visited with the caller for quite a while. It was mid-morning here in Windsor Missouri, so it was not too late at night in Jordan. What is ironic about the event is that Nancy and I are both retired military. We taught classes to allied students, including Jordanian students. Now both of us are in a small town in [+]

The phone rang today at our business and it turned out to be a caller from Germany who was testing Jaxtr. The astonishing thing was the call was so clear we thought it was somebody in our town, having no idea that the callwas routed from Germany courtesy of Jaxtr. The call also went to California, through our RingCentral PBX, then on to Missouri over the regular telephone network. We answered using a 5.8 GHz cordless phone. From VoIP to PSTN, and after that many hops and changes we commend everone along the way. My wife was stationed in Germany and we have experienced many calls to and from the United States. Service has improved over the years. Call clarity was, as I said, super-clear. The call was free for us and for the [+]

I received a call from Iraq last night. Actually I received four free Jaxtr phone calls by the time we finished for the night. The caller was a woman asking about Jaxtr. She apologized for her English but I thought she spoke very well. I knew I should have learned Arabic when I lived in Saudi Arabia, and told the woman so. Unfortunately I was not able to answer all of the woman's questions so I refered her to Megan at Jaxtr. What amazed me about the call was the clarity. As my caller paused to ask for an interpretation I could hear the other person in the background, thus I was able to think about my answer or help with the questions. The Jaxtr call was routed from Iraq to California, then to [+]

When you stop to think about how I route my Jaxtr calls to my RingCentral switchboard, and then on to my cell phone, the clarity of free Jaxtr international calls always amazes me. I received 54 new voice messages this month, and received calls from many countries including some I haven't heard from before. Free Jaxtr calls from South Africa and Israel made my list this month. I noticed that more people are signing up for Jaxtr, which means I can return a call just by clicking on their screen name. Free Jaxtr calls that originate in South Africa or Israel go to RingCentral in San Francisco, then to the AT&T wireless system, to a cell phone tower in Missouri, and finally to my location. There is no echo or delay, and depending on the connection at the [+]
