I received a telephone call from Egypt today and it was so clear and crisp it was astonishing. The caller was a woman, and her child was talking in the background. This call reminded me of a call I received from the Ukraine one day back when we were running VoIP tests years ago. In that case you could hear birds in the background, and the caller’s radio was playing softly in the distance. We both spoke in english and enjoyed the conversation.

As I prepare for the work week like so many others I thought I should update everyone on the free telephone calls I received over the weekend, thanks to Jaxtr. I received a call from Bulgaria, a call from Colombia, and a call from Greece. I asked my wife to write about her time in Crete, or as she says it “Arizona with beaches.” All of my phone calls were free so we did not worry about watching the minutes. Basically the callers wanted to test call clarity.

While travelling with my mom, dad, sister and brother I remember the Hotel Europa in Vienna Austria. I really haven’t given it much thought in recent years, but a call from Austria brought back memories of long ago. Mom, dad, and my sister are gone now, so after completing my call from Austria I called my brother. The call from Austria was free, thanks to Jaxtr.

Marco Antonio Barrera and the Pac Man Manny Pacquiao will have a rematch in October from what I have learned. Soon after I posted an article about my free Jaxtr phone call from the Philippines I started getting text messages. I am told the Barrera Pacquiao fight is scheduled for October 6, 2007 at Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. With free phone calls to and from the Philippines and Mexico it seems I should start a blog about boxing. I certainly have enough input to start a poll about who is going to win.
