RingCentral PBX is feature rich

At first I thought the RingCentral PBX would be difficult to set up. Using the web interface, I played with a few options before printing the manual. The 60 page manual printed out on 30 pages. I must admit I studied at least part of the manual before programming my extensions, business hours, and welcome messages. RingCentral is actually very intuitive for a high-powered PBX.

Every extension can be programmed to suit the needs of the person or department at that extension. For instance a caller is greeted with the first welcome message. If they hear “enter 401 for sales” extension 401 might be programmed to call the phones at every sales desk, all at the same time. The first salesperson to answer gets the sale.

You can program your business hours with special routing rules. If you are open from 9 to 5 Monday through Friday your RingCental PBX will pass calls accordingly. After hours rules can send every call to voicemail, send specified calls to your cell phone, or forward all calls to an answering service. If you need to do it RingCentral can make it happen. You also get a telephone number for your RingCentral account, and toll-free numbers are also available.
